Kingdom Wrestling’s Year-Round Strength Training Partner

Kingdom Wrestling is excited to partner with Mammoth Strength as our official year-round strength training partner.

We wanted more than just a place for our athletes to lift. We wanted a partner who understands wrestling, the demands of the competitive season, and how strength training should change throughout the year.

Mammoth Strength provides wrestling-specific programming designed to help athletes become stronger, more explosive, more durable, and better prepared for the demands of the sport.

Built for Wrestlers

Mammoth’s programming places an emphasis on areas that directly translate to wrestling, including:

  • Grip and forearm strength
  • Neck and spine development
  • Explosiveness and power
  • Rotational strength
  • Single-leg strength
  • Overall athletic capacity
  • Neurological response and movement
  • Staying healthy and maintaining strength during the season

Programming can also be adjusted around an athlete’s individual weaknesses, injury status, and training needs.

In-Season Training

During the winter season, athletes are exposed to two primary training days each week.

A-Day: Upper Body

Pressing, shoulders, biceps, forearms, grip, and neck work.

B-Day: Lower Body

Squats, single-leg assistance work, Nordic curls, pulling movements, and spine work.

The winter program is broken into three four-week training blocks that build on one another.

The goal during the wrestling season is simple: stay explosive, stay healthy, and maintain strength while competing.

After the season, athletes can transition into Mammoth’s offseason programming focused on continued strength, power, durability, and athletic development.
